BROOKHAVEN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY CLOSES ON
MEDFORD INDUSTRIAL BUILDING
FARMINGVILLE, NY – Frederick C. Braun III, chairman of the Town of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency (IDA) announced that the agency has closed on an agreement that will provide economic development incentives for a planned industrial building in Medford.
The benefits, approved by the IDA at its Dec. 7, 2022 meeting, will assist the project called 10 Donald’s Way LLC, an affiliate of Plainview-based Rechler Equity Partners.
The closing took place on September 19, 2023.
The project is a 140,875-square-foot multi-tenant building that will be constructed on about 11 acres of vacant land and will be part of a larger 73-acre industrial park.
The project, whose overall cost is estimated at $36.8 million, will result in the creation of 35 permanent jobs within two years of its completion and 125 construction industry jobs.
“This project will produce new jobs, new revenues for taxing jurisdictions, and develop a long-vacant site,” said Braun.
