Jim Tullo has been with the Town of Brookhaven for approximately 30 years. He has primarily specialized in the field of Economic and Industrial Development. Mr. Tullo served as Executive Assistant to the Director of the Town of Brookhaven’s Economic Development Division, and held the title of the Economic Development Zone Coordinator for the Township. He was responsible for recruiting new businesses to Brookhaven, implementing marketing plans, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. As a promoter of Economic Development and balanced growth, he brings unique firsthand knowledge of government policies and Economic Development strategies to the Town of Brookhaven IDA.  Mr. Tullo is also a former Town of Brookhaven Councilman, where he used his experience in Economic Development to propose, implement and create laws that positively affected the town’s fiscal position.

Mr. Tullo is a member of the Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus and a past member of the Long Island Epilepsy Foundation.  He resides in Coram with his wife Jennifer..
