Brookhaven IDA Closes Incentives for
Integrated Structures in Bellport

Steel fabricators propose to expand up to 5,000-sq-ft
and add new employees

FARMINGVILLE, NY (August 3, 2021)— Frederick C. Braun III, Chairman of the Town of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency (IDA) announced they have closed on economic development incentives for Integrated Structures, located at 4 Pinehurst Drive in Bellport, for the purchase and expansion of its facility. Integrated Structures fabricates structural steel parts for public works projects such as train stations and bridges. Integrated Structures has provided steel parts for JFK International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, the Astoria train station, the L.I.R.R. Station at Murray Hill, the Four Seasons Hotel, the Central Park Boathouse and more.

The incentives package included a PILOT agreement, mortgage recording tax abatement and sales tax abatement necessary for Integrated Structures to remain and grow in the Town of Brookhaven. The nearly $4 million proposed plan calls for expanding the facility by 4,000-5,000 square feet to accommodate additional and larger jobs and will add 7 employees. The company currently employees 55 people at an average salary of $133,000 a year.

“Integrated Structures brings highly-skilled, well-paying manufacturing jobs to our Town,” said Braun. “Attracting and retaining companies like Integrated Structures is essential if we are to keep the Brookhaven economy competitive and moving forward.”
